10-year-old robbed while walking with sister in Brooklyn: NYPD

BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) -- A 10-year-old boy was robbed in Crown Heights while walking with his 7-year-old sister on Friday, police said.

The robbery happened in front of 1436 Sterling Place when a man walked up to the young boy at 11:02 a.m., according to the NYPD. The suspect grabbed the boy's hand and stole eight dollars before running away, police said.

The young boy and his sister were not injured in the incident.
